Commenting on Henry’s appointment Managing Director, Les Sheridan, said:

“I am happy to announce that Henry O’Donnell has commenced his new role as Procurement Manager with Mitie. Henry spent numerous years as Procurement Manager with Bank of Ireland where he built up a great reputation as a tough but fair negotiator and is well known within the industry. Henry ensured that Bank of Ireland received best-in-class service at the right price while working in partnership with their suppliers and will bring that same set of skills and knowledge to improve Mitie’s performance and that of our supply chain.”

This is a key step in implementing the transformation of our procurement function. Henry will be responsible for designing and implementing a best-in-class, modern procurement function that will support the broader reform of Mitie’s value for money. This includes identifying and capturing significant cost saving opportunities within the company’s existing commercial practices, which both Mitie and it’s clients can benefit from.

Henry O’Donnell, Procurement Manager, said:

“I’m excited to join an organisation that has big ambitions and is already well on course to deliver. I am looking forward to working with the Mitie team to develop and implement long-term procurement strategies that will deliver best value across a variety of services and changing environments.”
