Mitie named in ‘Top 100 companies in Ireland for Employee Wellbeing’ for the second year in a row

The Top 100 Companies Leading in Wellbeing Index, in association with Business and Finance media group, launched in March 2022. The index acknowledges companies across Ireland who are leading the way for employee wellbeing and who, through their commitment to instilling a best practice approach, have made a lasting impact on their employees and on the business community. Mitie Ireland are delighted to have been named as one of the ‘Top 100 Companies in Ireland for Employee Wellbeing’ for the second year running.

Mitie are the only Facilities Management company to have received the IBEC KeepWell Mark for employee wellbeing. This is a real differentiator for us in a challenging market and it is a commitment which has a positive impact on our client sites and teams.

As part of Mitie’s commitment to staff wellbeing a Wellness Room was created in the Mitie office in Swords and was launched on Thursday 5 May 2022.  The Wellness Room is a designated, private area in our office where employees can take a bit of time out to tend to their own personal health needs.

The room has:

  • A list of contact numbers for various helplines to contact for support including our Mitie Mental Health First Aid Team
  • Information leaflets on different health and wellbeing topics
  • Books around the area of health and wellbeing that have been donated to the room
  • Mellow lighting
  • Drinking water dispenser
  • Multiple rest areas
