Ann Hughes

Ann is a highly experienced senior executive in health, safety, compliance and sustainability, with over 25 years of leadership across multiple sectors across Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Throughout her career, Ann has driven safety initiatives and lead sustainability programmes within various organisations. She has also played a pivotal role in implementing multiple ISO standards, developing injury management programmes and contributing to business growth through strategic safety leadership and operational excellence.

As QHSE & Risk Director at Mitie Ireland, she develops, leads and manages the Quality, Health, Safety Environment (QHSE) and risk management strategy across the organisation. Ann ensures compliance with legislative and industry standards, and drives continuous improvement in quality, safety and sustainability.

Ann collaborates daily with her own team as well as senior leadership to embed a proactive safety culture within Mitie and for all our clients.
