Annual Awards “The Mities” 2018

The Charity and Awards night, held at the Morrison Hotel was a great and successful evening. We raised an excellent €8500 for our chosen Charity ‘Enable Ireland’, part of the money raised was used for their Christmas Event with the Children and Parents, who had an absolute ball. The rest of the money raised will go towards renovating play grounds. ‘Enable Ireland’ was over the moon with the donations and send you all a big thank you!

• QHSE Person of the Year – Beata Banach from our G&G Ireland team based on MMC contract. For best demonstrating our QHSE values and behaviours. 
  
• Exceptional, Every day of the Year – Aaron Scott from our Service Desk in Dublin. For going the extra mile every day to exceed our client’s expectations. 
  
• Best Above & Beyond of the Year – We had two winners, Lily Cash from BOI Arena Tallaght for how she dealt with a lift entrapment on the afternoon we all split up for Christmas last year. Darius Kemeklis from our Industrial Cleaning team for how he supported multiple client sites during storm Emma.
  
• Team Worker of the Year – Marguerite McEvoy from our Finance team. For demonstrating team values every day, and always being a team player. 
  
• Best Can Do Attitude of the Year – Amy Caulfield from our HR team. For consistently displaying a can-do attitude no matter what problem / issue is given to her. 
  
• Team of the Year – BOI Baggot Plaza Reception team, Alison Twomey, Emer Fellows, Katie Newman and Lisa Newman who were nominated under the exceptional everyday category. We didn’t originally have a category for team of the year but as several teams were nominated, we decided to include one. 
  
• Employee of the Year – Guillaume Didu from our team at MMC. Guillaume ticks all the boxes above and is an example to us all.
